Clinical Study of Batroxase Combined with Retroaural Injection of Dexa-methasone in Treatment of Sudden Deafness
Objective To explore the clinical effect of combined use of dexamethasone and batroxobin for the treat-ment of sudden deafness in patients. Methods A total of eighty-three patients with sudden deafness treated in Xuyi County People's Hospital from July 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into conventional treatment group(n=41,only receiving retroaural injection of dexamethasone)and combined treatment group(n=42,dexamethasone+batroxase treatment). Before and after treat-ment,the score changes of tinnitus, ear congestion and vertigo in the two groups were evaluated, and the treatment ef-fectiveness and the time of significant improvement of various clinical symptoms in the two groups were compared.Re-sults Before treatment, there were no statistical significances in tinnitus, ear tightness and vertigo scores between the two groups(all P>0.05).After treatment, tinnitus, ear tightness and vertigo scores were all decreased between the two groups, and the combined treatment group was lower than the conventional treatment group, the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).The disappearance time of vomiting, tinnitus, vertigo and hearing recovery time in com-bined treatment group were less than those in conventional treatment group, the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).The effective rate of the combined treatment group was 97.61%(41/42),which was higher than 80.49%(33/41)of the conventional treatment group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.651,P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of dexamethasone and batroxobin after retroauricular injection can effectively improve the clinical efficacy of patients with sudden deafness, shorten the treatment cycle, and significantly improve symptoms such as dizziness and tinnitus.
