Analysis of the Therapeutic Effect and Safety of the Combination of Keto-conazole and Clotrimazole Suppository in the Treatment of Candida Vagi-nitis in the Elderly
Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of ketoconazole combined with clotrimazole suppository in the treatment of senile candidal vaginitis.Methods The diagnosis and treatment data of one hundred and twenty elderly patients with candidal vaginal infection treated in Juancheng County Maternal and Child Health Care family Planning Service Center from January 2022 to February 2024 were retrospectively selected.They were divided into two groups with different treatment methods,sixty cases in each group.Ketoconazole was used in the single group,and ketocon-azole and clotrimazole were used in the combined group.The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared.Re-sults The level of vaginal microecological indicators in combination group was better than that in single group,and the level of vaginal secretions immunoglobulin was higher than that in single group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The effective rate of combination group was 98.33%(59/60),which was higher than 85.00%(51/60)in single group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.982,P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in combination group was slightly higher than that in single group,and the difference was not statistically sig-nificant(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of ketoconazole and clotrimazole supposit in the treatment of elderly patients with candidal vaginitis can not only optimize the vaginal microecology level,improve the immune function of patients,but also improve the therapeutic effect without increasing the risk of adverse reactions.
