Evaluation of Clinical Effects of Latent Intrathecal Block Anesthesia for Labor Analgesia and Analysis of the Promotion of Natural Delivery
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of latent intraspinal block anesthesia in labor analgesia and to analyze its promoting effect on natural labor. Methods Clinical data of two hundred parturiental parturiency patients undergoing intraspinal block anesthesia for labor and analgesia treated in The Second People's Hospital of Baiyin,Gansu Province from January 2022 to October 2023 were retrospectively selected, and they were divided into latent group and active group according to different timing of analgesia, with one hundred cases in each group. The latent group underwent anesthesia during the incubation period of labor, while the active group underwent anesthesia during the active period. The anesthetic effect of the two groups was compared. Results The first, second and third stages of labor in latent group were significantly shorter than those in active group, and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Apgar scores 1,5 and 10 min after birth between the two groups(all P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in latent group was 5.00%(5/100),lower than 13.00%(13/100)in active group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.907,P<0.05).The natural delivery rate of the latent group was higher than that of the active group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Con-clusion Latent intra-vertebral block anesthesia shows good clinical effect in labor analgesia, can shorten labor, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions, increase the rate of natural delivery, and has no adverse effect on neonatal Apgar score.
