Comparison of the Effect of Standard Dose and Half Dose Tirofiban as an Adjuvant PCI Treatment for Acute ST-segment Elevation Myocardial In-farction
Objective To compare the efficacy of standard dose and half-dose tirofiban assisted percutaneous coro-nary intervention(PCI)on acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. Methods Ninety-four patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction admitted to Shanghe County People's Hospital in Jinan City from January 2022 to June 2023 were non-randomly selected as study subjects.According to the treatment method, they were divided into standard-dose group and half-dose group, with fotry-seven patients in each group, and the two groups were treated with standard-measurement and half-dose tirofiban for adjuvant PCI,respectively.Compared the myocardial reperfusion indexes, cardiac function indexes, and complications of the two groups. Results There were no statistically significant differences in myocardial reperfusion indexes between the two groups(all P>0.05).The levels of cardiac function indexes in the half-dose group were better than those in the standard-dose group, and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The complication rate of the half-dose group was 4.26%(2/47),which was higher than 19.15%(9/47)in the standard-dose group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.045,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of tirofiban in PCI therapy can effectively alleviate myocardial reperfu-sion in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, and half-dose tirofiban improves patients'car-diac function more effectively and effectively reduces the risk of bleeding adverse effects.
