Comparison of Therapeutic Effects Between Transurethral Ureteroscopic Laser Lithotripsy Combined with Negative Pressure Suction Sheath and Percutaneous Nephrolithotripsy for Upper Ureteral Stones
Objective To compare the effect of transurethral flexible ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy combined with negative pressure suction sheath and percutaneous nephrolithotomy laser lithotripsy in the treatment of upper ureteral calculi. Methods One hundred and seventy-eight cases of patients with upper ureteral stones admitted to the First People's Hospital of Yancheng City from January 2022 to December 2023 were non-randomly selected as study sub-jects.They were divided into two groups according to different treatment methods, with eighty-nine cases in each group. The control group was treated with percutaneous nephrolithotomy laser lithotripsy, and the observation group was treated with transurethral ureteral flexible mirror laser lithotripsy combined with negative pressure suction sheath.Compared the surgery-related indexes, stone removal rate and the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups. Results The intraoperative bleeding in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the hospitalization time was shorter than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The stone removal rate of the observation group was 95.51%(85/89),which was higher than 78.65%(70/89)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=11.234,P<0.05).The complication rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with percutaneous nephrolithotomy laser lithotripsy, transurethral flexible ureteroscopic laser lithotripsy combined with negative pressure suction sheath is more effective in the clinical treatment of upper ureteral calculi, with higher stone clearance rate, faster postoperative recovery and fewer complications.
