Analysis of the Effect of Abdominal Needle Combined with Repeated Tran-scranial Magnetic Stimulation for Elderly Insomnia Patients
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation in the treatment of insomnia in the elderly. Methods Sixty patients with insomnia admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Huangdao District People's Hospital of Qingdao from February 2022 to April 2023 were objectively selected.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into two groups, the inquiry group and the conventional group, thirty cases in each group. The inquiry group was treated with abdomi-nal acupuncture combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, and the conventional group was treated with alternating magnetic field. The effective rate of treatment and the sleep quality scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate of treatment in the inquiry group was 96.00%(24/25),which was higher than 68.00%(17/25)in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.639,P<0.001);After treatment, the sleep quality score of the inquiry group were significantly lower than that of the conventional group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Abdominal acupuncture combined with low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic therapy can improve the sleep quality and emotional state of elderly patients with insomnia.
