Clinical Efficacy of Pricking Meridian Medicine Cupping Combined with Massage and Spinal Manipulation Therapy for Patients with Cervical Facet Joint Disorders
Objective To analyze the effect of acupuncture,medicine,and cupping combined with massage and spinal correction therapy on patients with cervical spondylosis.Methods Clinical data of fifty-two patients with cervical spondylotic joint disorders admitted to the Orthopedics Department of Zibo Hospital of Shandong Yiyang Health Group from January 2021 to June 2023 were retrospectively selected.According to different treatment plans,they were divided into a control group(using massage therapy)and an observation group(using massage therapy+acupoint medi-cation therapy),with twenty-six cases in each group.The effective rates,pain levels,and disease scores were com-pared between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.15%(25/26),which was higher than 69.23%(18/26)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.837,P<0.05).After treatment,the Visual Analogue Scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of dizziness,stiffness,discomfort,restricted mobility,and swelling between the two groups(all P>0.05).Af-ter treatment,the above scores decreased in both groups,and the observation group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of cervical facet joint disorder pa-tients with acupuncture and massage therapy has significant therapeutic effects.Symptoms such as restricted mobility,dizziness,stiffness,and discomfort have been improved,and pain has been relieved.
