Evaluation of Clinical Advantages of Directional Penetration Therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Intermediate Frequency Combined with Acupuncture in the Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective To evaluate the advantage of the combination of traditional Chinese medicine directed penetra-tion therapy combined with medium frequency acupuncture in the treatment of patients with lumbar disc herniation.Methods Ninety patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation admitted to Suzhou Industrial Park Xinghu Hospi-tal from January 2022 to November 2023 were selected as the study objects by target sampling method.They were di-vided into a reference group and a study group according to different treatment methods,with forty-five cases in each group.The reference group was treated with conventional acupuncture,while the research group was treated with tradi-tional Chinese medicine directional penetration combined with medium frequency combined with acupuncture.The treatment effects,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,pain scores,and lumbar spine function scores were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 95.56%(43/45),which was higher than the control group's 80.00%(36/45),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.075,P<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,pain score,and lumbar spine function score of the study group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion During the treatment of lumbar disc herniation,the treatment of Chinese medicine directional penetration combined with medium frequency combined with acupuncture has a significant effect,which can effectively relieve the pain of patients.
