Analysis of the Effect of Suanzaoren Decoction Combined with Auricular Acupuncture on Insomnia after Ischemic Stroke in the Elderly
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Suanzaoren decoction combined with auricular acupuncture in elderly patients with insomnia after ischemic stroke.Methods The clinical data of 100 elderly patients with insom-nia after ischemic stroke treated in Jining Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine from February 2020 to March 2023 were retrospectively selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment methods,with 50 cases in each group.The reference group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group was treated with Suanzaoren decoction combined with auricular acupuncture.The treatment effects were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the study group was 98.00%(49/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.982,P<0.05).The sleep quality index of the study group were better than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in study group was lower than that in reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Suanzaoren Decoction combined with auricular acupunc-ture can improve the efficacy,safety and sleep quality of elderly patients with insomnia after ischemic stroke.
