Clinical Effect of Compound Guixiong Capsule Combined with Electroacu-puncture and Massage in the Treatment of Vertebral Artery Type Cervical Spondylosis
Objective To observe the clinical effect of compound Guixiong capsule combined with electroacupuncture and massage on vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis.Methods Fifty patients with vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis admitted to Meizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to June 2024 were non-randomly selected as the study objects,and were divided into twenty-five patients according to treatment methods.The control group was treated with electroacupuncture and massage,and the observation group was treated with com-pound Guixiong capsule.The therapeutic effect,Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome score and cervical spine func-tion score of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 100.00% (25/25),which was higher than that of the control group 76.00%(19/25),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.735,P<0.05).The scores of Traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The cervical spine function scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis with compound Guixiong cap-sule combined with electroacupuncture and massage is effective,which can improve the clinical symptoms,restore the function of cervical vertebra.
