Evaluation of the Therapeutic Effect of Early Application of Statins on Pa-tients with Cerebral Infarction
Objective To study the efficacy of early administration of statins in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods Ninety-six patients with cerebral infarction admitted to Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were objectively selected as the study subjects. They were divided into two groups us-ing different treatment methods. The control group received routine treatment, while the observation group received early statin medication(atorvastatin)on basis of the previous group. The clinical efficacy, blood lipid indicators, and oxidative inflammation indicators between two groups were compared. Results The total clinical efficacy of the obser-vation group was 95.83% (46/48),higher than 83.33%(40/48)of the control group, the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=4.018,P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group had lower total cholesterol,triglycerides,low-density lipoprotein and higher high-density lipoprotein than control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The oxidative inflammation indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Early administration of statins in patients with cerebral infarction on the basis of conventional treatment can further improve blood lipid indicators, reduce oxida-tive inflammatory reactions in the body, and improve treatment effectiveness, which has clinical value.
