A Clinical Grouping Controlled Study of Low-dose Levothyroxine in the Treatment of Benign Thyroid Nodules
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of low-dose levothyroxine in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules. Methods 200 patients with benign thyroid nodules admitted to the Endocrinology Department of Shen County People's Hospital from February 2021 to October 2022 were objectively selected. Both groups were treated with levo-thyroxine,they were grouped by medication dose, the control group(n=100)received conventional dose, while the ob-servation group(n=100)received low dose. The treatment indicators and adverse reaction rates of the two groups of pa-tients were compared. Results The size of thyroid nodules in the observation group was(8.35±1.16)cm3,better than the control group(10.65±1.52)cm3,the difference was statistically significant(t=12.029,P<0.05).The endocrine me-tabolism indicators and antioxidant stress indicators in the observation group were better than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);There were 2 cases of insomnia and vomiting in the ob-servation group,4 cases of insomnia and vomiting in the control group, and 1 case of diarrhea. Conclusion The use of low-dose levothyroxine in the treatment of benign thyroid nodules has high efficacy and safety.
