Effect of Short-term Intensive Insulin Pump Therapy on Blood Glucose Level,Glycolipid Metabolism and Insulin Resistance in Type 2 Diabetic Pa-tients
Objective To investigate the effects of short-term intensive insulin pump therapy on blood glucose level,glucose lipid metabolism and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes patients.Methods A total of sixty patients with type 2 diabetes in Jun'an Hospital Affiliated to Shunde Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were objectively selected.According to different treatment methods,the partici-pants were divided into study group and control group.The control group(thirty cases)was treated with insulin,and the study group(thirty cases)was treated with short-term intensive insulin pump.The clinical efficacy,adverse reac-tions,lipid metabolism level,blood sugar level and insulin related indexes of the two groups were compared.Results The effective rate of the study group was 100.00% (30/30),higher than 80.00%(24/30)of the control group,the differ-ence was statistically significant(χ2=4.630,P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment,the level of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol in the study group was higher than that in the control group,the levels of low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,triglycerides,and total cholesterol were lower than those of control group,the dif-ferences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The HBA1c,fasting blood glucose and 2h postprandial blood glu-cose in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The HOMA-IR and FINS were lower thanthose in the control group,and HOMA-β was higher than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Short-term intensive insulin pump therapy is effective and safe in patients with type 2 diabetes,and can effectively regulate glucose and lipid me-tabolism and improve insulin secretion.
