Efficacy Analysis of Montelukast Sodium Combined with Budesonide in the Treatment of Bronchial Asthma
Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of combined administration of montelukast sodium and budesonide in patients with bronchial asthma.Methods 100 patients with bronchial asthma admitted to Nanjing Gaoc-hun People's Hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were non-randomly selected as the study subjects.Ac-cording to the specific treatment methods,they were divided into two groups,namely,50 cases in the conventional group and 50 cases in the observation group.The routine group was given basic treatment,and the observation group was treated with montelukast sodium and budesonide in addition to basic treatment.The effective rate,lung function parameters before and after treatment,and levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared be-tween the two groups.Results The effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 98% (49/50),which was higher than 84.00%(42/50)in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.396,P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in pulmonary function parameters and inflammatory factor levels between the two groups(both P>0.05).After treatment,the pulmonary function parameters of the observation group were higher than those of the conventional group,and the inflammatory factor levels were lower than those of the conventional group the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Montelukast sodium com-bined with budesonide in the treatment of bronchial asthma can effectively improve the airway limitation of patients and enhance lung function,which can provide reference for clinical practice.
