Efficacy of Ambroxol Hydrochloride Combined with Antibiotics in the Treatment of Children with Mycoplasma Pneumonia and Its Effect on Se-rum Inflammatory Factor Levels
Objective To investigate the efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin in the treat-ment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(MPP).Methods A total of 600 children admitted to Dan-yang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from June to December 2023 were non-randomly selected as study subjects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 300 cases in each group.Azithromycin was given to the control group, and Ambroxol hydrochloride combined with azithromycin was given to the observation group. The efficacy, clinical symptoms improvement time, inflammatory factors and ad-verse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.00% (294/300),which was higher than 95.00%(285/300)of the control group, and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(χ2=3.997,P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group's clinical symptoms improvement time were shorter than those of the control group, and the serum inflammatory factors levels were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Ambroxol hydrochloride combined with antibiotic treatment can improve the clinical efficacy and effectively alleviate the clinical symptoms of children with MPP,with high safety.
