Efficacy and Safety of Popivacaine Combined with Esketamine in Epidural Labor Analgesia:A Randomized Controlled Trial
Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of ropivacaine combined with esketamine in epidural labor an-algesia,and to provide a new choice for clinical labor analgesia. Methods A total of 160 parturients who gave birth in Xiaogan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected and divided into groups by different anesthesia methods, with 80 cases in each group. The control group received ropivacaine+sufentanil an-esthesia analgesia, and the observation group received ropivacaine+esketamine anesthesia analgesia. The anesthesia block, analgesia related indexes and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results At T1-T5,the motor nerve block of lower limbs in the observation group was lighter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The onset time of analgesia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the number of remedial analgesia was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group 3.75% (3/80)was lower than that in the control group 12.50%(10/80)(χ2=4.103,P<0.05).Conclusion Ropivacaine combined with esketamine showed good anesthesia block effect in epidural labor analgesia, less influence on the motor function of lower limbs, rapid onset of analgesia, less times of remedial analgesia, and low incidence of complications.
