Analysis of the Therapeutic Effect of Tuina Technique Followed by Nee-dling and Cupping on Neck,Shoulder,and Back Myofascial Pain Syn-drome
Objective To explore and analyze the clinical efficacy of applying massage techniques followed by acu-puncture and cupping in the treatment of neck,shoulder,and back myofascial pain syndrome.Methods The clinical data of sixty-four patients with neck,shoulder and back myofascial pain syndrome who were treated in the massage de-partment of Yangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2023 were retrospectively selected.They were grouped according to different treatments,with 32 cases in each group.The conventional group was given routine treatment,and the study group was given massage combined with acupuncture and cupping treat-ment.Pain,treatment effect and disease recurrence were analyzed in the two groups.Results After treatment,the ten-derness and pain scores in study group were 1.28±0.19 and 2.04±0.43,lower than 2.00±0.23 and 4.06±0.57 in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(t=13.653,16.004,both P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The disease recurrence rates of the study group at 3 and 6 months were lower than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion Tuina techniques and acupuncture and cupping therapy are used for neck,shoulder,and back myofascial pain syndrome.It can effectively alleviate the pain symptoms of patients,with a low recurrence rate and significant therapeutic effects.
