Analysis of the Effect of Retinal Laser Combined with Ranibizumab in the Treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema
Objective To analyze the effect of combining retinal laser and ranibizumab in the treatment of diabetic macular edema(DME).Methods From October 2022 to September 2023,ninety-two DME patients admitted to Caox-ian People's Hospital were non-randomly selected and divided into two groups according to different treatment meth-ods.Forty-six patients in the control group were treated with fundus laser therapy,while forty-six patients in the study group were treated with a combination of ranibizumab on the basis of it.Compare the clinical efficacy,improvement time of macular edema,absorption time of retinal exudate,optimal corrected visual acuity,macular fovea thickness,and complications between two groups of patients.Results The total effective rate in the research group was 95.65%(44/46),higher than 80.43%(37/46)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.666,P<0.05).Compared to the control group,the macular edema improvement time and fundus exudate absorption time in the study group were shorter,the best corrected visual acuity was higher,and macular fovea thickness was lower,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of retinal laser and ranibizumab has achieved ideal results in the treatment of DME,which can effectively improve visual acuity and macular fovea thick-ness.
