Effect of Vitamin A Palmitate Ophthalmic Gel Combined with Dexametha-sone Sodium Eye Drops on Dry Eye after Phacoemulsification
Objective To investigate the effect of vitamin A palmitate ophthalmic gel combined with dexamethasone sodium eye drops on dry eye patients after phacoemulsification. Methods From January to December 2022,204 cases of dry eyes after phacoemulsification in Lanzhou First People's Hospital were non-randomly selected and divided into the control group(n=102,dexamethasone sodium eye drops)and the observation group(n=102,vitamin A palmitate eye gel+dexamethasone sodium eye drops)according to different treatment methods.Compare the clinical efficacy of two groups after treatment,as well as tear inflammatory factor levels before and after treatment and visual related qual-ity of life. Results The total treatment efficiency of the observation group was 98.03%(100/102),which was higher than 90.20%(92/102)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.666,P<0.05);After 4 weeks of treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the visual related quality of life score were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion After phacoemulsification, vitamin A palmitate eye gel combined with diquafosol eye drops can improve the level of tear inflammatory factors, improve clinical efficacy and quality of life.
