Clinical Study on the Preventive Effect of Hypochlorous Acid Flushing So-lution on Postoperative Infection after Transurethral Resection of the Pros-tate
Objective To investigate the efficacy of applying hypochlorite flushing solution to prevent infection after transurethral electrolysis of the prostate. Methods The clinical data of 100 cases of patients with urethro-prostate electrocision admitted to The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January 2022 to February 2024 were retrospectively selected. They were divided into two groups of 50 cases each according to the different flush-ing solutions used, with 0.000 1%hypochlorite flushing solution applied intraoperatively in the observation group and saline flushing applied intraoperatively in the control group.C-reactive protein, white blood cell count, neutrophil ra-tio and the incidence of systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS)in the postoperative period were compared between the two groups. Results At 24 h postoperatively,C-reactive protein, leukocyte count, and neutrophil ratio were lower in the observation group than in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative SIRS in the observation group was 4.00%(2/50),which was lower than 18.00%(9/50)in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.005,P<0.05).Conclusion The appli-cation of hypochlorite rinse solution rinsing during urethro-prostate electrocision can reduce the increase of inflamma-tory factor and cytokine in patients in the early postoperative period, reduce the incidence of postoperative SIRS,and have a good effect on the preventive effect of postoperative infection.
