Effect of Internal Fixation Combined with External Fixation Rack in Pa-tients with Traumatic Limb Fractures and Its Effect on Joint Function
Objective To explore the effect of internal fixation combined with external fixator in the treatment of pa-tients with traumatic limb fractures and its impact on quality of life. Methods A total of eighty-six patients with trau-matic limb fractures admitted to Heze Mudan People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were non-randomly selected as the study subjects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with forty-three cases in each group. The control group was treated with internal fixation, and the observation group was treated with internal fixation combined with external fixator. The perioperative condi-tions,pain degree, inflammatory factor levels and joint function were compared between the two groups. Results The perioperative indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).The pain score of the observation group on the first day after operation was 4.52±0.69,and the pain score on the third day was 1.64±0.47,which were lower than 5.69±0.74,3.06±0.52 of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(t=7.583,13.285,both P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of in-flammatory factors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).After treatment, the joint function scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Internal fixation combined with external fixator is effective in the treatment of patients with traumatic limb fractures, which is helpful to reduce the degree of pain and the level of inflammatory factors, and significantly improve the joint function of patients.
