Clinical Analysis of Phenobarbital Sodium Combined with Ursodeoxycho-lic Acid to Improve the Levels of Glutamic Oxalacetic Transaminase,Total Bilirubin and γ-Glutamyl Transpeptidase in Neonates with Cholestasis
Objective To analyze the effect of phenobarbital sodium combined with ursodeoxycholic acid on the levels of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase(AST),total bilirubin(TBIL)and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase(γ-GGT)in neonates with cholestasis. Methods A total of eighty children with cholestasis admitted to Weining Cheng'ai Hospital from Oc-tober 2023 to February 2024 were non-randomly selected as the research objects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with forty cases in each group. The control group was treated with phenobarbital sodium, and the observation group was treated with phenobarbital sodium combined with ursodeoxycholic acid. The treatment efficiency and the levels of AST,TBIL and γ-GGT before and after treat-ment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.50%(39/40),which was higher than 80.00%(32/40)of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.135,P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in the levels of TBIL,AST and γ-GGT between the two groups before treatment(all P>0.05).After treatment, the levels of TBIL,AST and γ-GGT in the two groups were decreased com-pared with those before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group, the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Phenobarbital sodium combined with ursodeoxycholic acid can improve AST,TBIL and γ-GGT levels in the treatment of neonatal cholestasis, and accelerate the outcome of the disease.
