Effect of Combined Orthodontic and Implant Restoration Treatment on Aesthetics and Color of Restoration in Patients with Aesthetic Defects of Anterior Teeth
Objective Analysis of the effect of orthodontics and implant restoration in the treatment of aesthetic de-fects of anterior teeth.Methods Fifty patients with anterior dental aesthetic defects admitted to the Stomatology De-partment of Bijie Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were non-randomly se-lected as study objects and divided into control group and observation group according to different treatment plans,with twenty-five cases in each group.The control group received conventional implant repair treatment,and the obser-vation group received orthodontic+implant repair combined treatment.The total satisfaction,red aesthetic index and white aesthetic index of the two groups were compared.Results The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100.00%(25/25),which was higher than 76.00%(19/25)of the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(χ2=4.735,P<0.05).The red aesthetic index and the white aesthetic index in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at the completion of repair,the 6th month and the 9th month,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of orthodontic and restoration combined therapy in clinical treatment of patients with anterior dental aesthetic defects can improve the color of the prosthesis,which is helpful to improve the dental aesthetics of patients and improve patient satisfaction.
