Analysis on the Effectiveness and Safety Effects of TCM External Applica-tion on Soft Tissue Injury
Objective To explore the effectiveness and safety of Chinese medicine on soft tissue injury.Methods Sev-enty patients with soft tissue injury admitted to Orthopedics Department of Beijing Fengtai Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were non-randomly selected as the research objects and divided into control group and treat-ment group according to the different treatment methods,with thirty-five cases in each groups.The control group used Chinese medicine lotion,and the treatment group used Chinese medicine paste,the symptom score,pain score and in-cidence of adverse reactions were compared in the two groups.Results After treatment,pain,swelling,local ecchymo-sis,dysfunction,and tenderness symptom scores of the treatment group were 1.26±0.30,1.95±0.54,1.78±0.39,1.66±0.48,0.89±0.46,respectively,lower than 2.67±0.56,2.43±0.64,2.21±0.26,2.35±0.39,1.42±0.63 of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=13.130,33.391,5.427,6.600,4.020,all P<0.05).The pain scores of the patient of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group after 1,2 courses of treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was generally consistent,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion External treatment of soft tissue injury can relieve swelling,pain and limited movement,with some safety.
