An Exploration of a"Four-Step and Eight-Dimension"Construction Path for the Resource Database of the Ideological and Political Education in English Courses for Higher Vocational Education
The ideological and political teaching resource database is a significant means to advance curriculum ideological and political education in colleges and universities.However,it is also a bottleneck for teachers to break through in the process of practicing ideological and political education in their courses.By taking the college English course of Shanghai Technical Institute of Electronics and Information as a case in point,this paper makes an attempt to explore the ways for constructing ideological and political teaching resource database for vocational college English course,and proposes a four-step,eight-dimension implementation path characterized by enhancing,exploring,establishing,and integrating.The aim is to enhance the educational effectiveness of English courses and provide valuable experience and reference for other higher vocational colleges in developing their own ideological and political education resource libraries for English courses.
