The excellent traditional Chinese culture contains rich humanistic ideas and national spirit,and public libraries shoulder the mission of promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture.This paper expounds the significance and current situation of the popularization education of the excellent traditional culture in public libraries,introduces the practice case of the traditional culture popularization education in Xingtai library,and proposes a new attempt to promote the popularization of traditional culture with the help of new media according to the practice of traditional culture popularization video service of"Chinese Wisdom in Classics",in order to provide reference for the popularization of excellent traditional culture in public libraries.
