Urbanization of Capital and Justice——Based on David Harvey's Theory of Urban Spatial Justice
David Harvey, through his research on the laws of capital movement, proposed that the theory of spatiotemporal restoration is the unjust way of spatial production in capitalist cities. This has also led to prominent unjust phenomena such as resource waste and environmental damage, inequality and violence, spatial segregation, spiritual emptiness, production and consumption exclusion, and uneven regional development in the process of urbanization or suburbanization. Therefore,Harvey believed that the concept of class should be fundamentally readjusted, the field of class struggle should be redefined, and further proposed the theory of urban rights and urban revolution.Harvey's theory provides a new perspective for people to understand urban space, but it is still worth rethinking.
