Multidimensional Space and Action Strategies for the Autonomous Development of Social Work in the Process of Chinese Modernization
Chinese path to modernization has created new space-time conditions for the autonomous development of social work in China.Under the concept of"big governance",future social work will not only span various social issues,but also run through all levels,forming a broad multidimensional space,including micro social work through action reflection,meso social work based on community,and macro social work for policy practice.Correspondingly,social work should focus on integrated action strategies,emphasize demand response in terms of functional positioning,and uphold professionalism to deeply participate in co-construction,co-governance and shared social governance.By leveraging the high-level coordination of the Ministry of Social Work in institutional integration,we can improve the social work system thorough various aspects such as service,management,security and fostering professionals;strengthen problem awareness and action ability in professional training;highlight action research in the construction of localized social work theory,promote the autonomous development of Chinese social work in the service field,knowledge system,and practical mode.
