中国摩登女郎的"生死场"——基于现代性视域对报纸与电影之性别话语的考察(1930-1937)

摘要
20世纪30年代的摩登女郎,构成考察中国社会转型中性别话语与现代性交织的重要中介.本文考察了 1930-1937年报纸与电影围绕摩登女郎的性别话语后发现,主流大报的新闻报道对摩登女郎的媒介形象进行了负面建构,情节剧电影对摩登女郎的女性化情感进行了收编,而文字与视觉媒介在性别赋形上的差异与互动,为摩登女郎提供了松动性别权力结构与重塑现代意识的话语实践空间.摩登女郎与现代大众媒介的紧密交织,使中国女性的现代性获得了历史化、具体化的实践契机.
Abstract
The Modern Girl in the 1930s was an important intermediary in examining the interweaving of gender politics and modernity in China's social transformation.This paper is based on the perspective of modernity to examine the gender discourse on the Modern Girl in newspapers and films from 1930 to 1937.The study has found that the news coverage of mainstream newspapers negatively constructed the media image of the Modem Girl,while the melodramas co-opted the feminine emotion carried by the Modern Girl.The interaction and differences between text and visual media in gender shaping also provide a discourse practice space for the Modem Girl to loosen gender power structures and reshape modem consciousness.The modernity of Chinese women has obtained an opportunity of historical and concrete practice due to the close interweaving of the Modem Girl and modern mass media.
