摘要
水舟隐喻是西方媒介本体论的重要论断.本研究从概念隐喻理论出发,以《圣经》《山海经》《理想国》《周礼》等文本为语料,对灭世洪水与大禹治水、诺亚方舟与番禺制舟、圣人之舟与国家之船三组叙事进行对比分析,从媒介学的视角对人类文明轴心时代的"水舟"观念原型进行发生学考察.研究发现:"水""舟"意象的渊源与所指在文明起源之初就已显露端倪,西方水舟的隐喻演进路径与华夏对水舟的认知路径呈现出援舟入水与水舟共生的差异,此差异中又隐含着对"媒介之'中'"的理解差异,集中体现为中介性隐喻和连接性隐喻的区别.
Abstract
The sea-going ship metaphor is an important metaphor in western media ontology.Based on the theory of conceptual metaphor,using The Bible,The Classic of Mountains and Seas,The Republic and The Rites of Zhou as corpus,this paper makes a comparative analysis of three groups of narration:the world flood and Dayu's water control,Noah's Ark and the boat of Panyu,and the boat of the sage and the ship of the stat.Through the framework of cognitive linguistics,the author makes a investigation on the prototype of the concept of"water boat"in the axis era of human civilization,and then carries out a comparative study of Chinese and Western civilization.Study found that:"water"and"boat"image of the origin and the signified has emerged in the beginning of the origins of civilization,western water boat metaphor for the evolution path and huaxia cognitive path of water boat show distinct difference,this difference and implicit understanding of'in'of"media"differences,concentrated embodied in the difference between the intermediary and connectivity metaphor.
