摘要

本研究试图在主流平台劳动研究所遵从的"技术—控制"路径之外,探索算法得以嵌入本地平台劳动秩序的常规化过程,以此呈现"技术—组织"视角下的另类劳动景观.研究以"送外卖"为个案,揭示算法如何嵌入外卖站点对平台劳动的时空管理机制、组织绩效逻辑以及骑手社群,进而常规化平台劳动的在地秩序.研究发现,作为技术行动者的算法经由中介劳动组织的管理机制、自动调度与人工干预的关系平衡,以及劳工社群对平台算法的认知调节,生成了一种不同于算法规训的"算法协作"过程,由此为平台劳动中的算法神话祛魅.

Abstract

The paper attempts to explore the embedded and routinization process of intelligent algorithms being localized beyond the"technology-control"path followed by mainstream platform labor research institutes,in order to reveal an alternative labor landscape from the perspective of"technology-organize".The article takes"food delivery"as a case study,explores how algorithm systems can be embedded into the spatiotemporal management mechanism,organizational performance logic,and labor community of intermediary labor organization for platform labor through field investigations and in-depth interviews,and thus routinizied the local order of platform labor.Research has found that compared to the unidirectional or decisive impact of algorithm systems on platform labor processes under the"technology-control"path,algorithms as technical actors generate a"algorithm collaboration"process that is different from algorithm training through the management mechanism of intermediary labor organizations,the balance between automatic scheduling and manual intervention,and the cognitive regulation of labor communities on platform algorithms.These processes disenchant the myth of algorithms in platform labor.
