The model of plain fabric panel composite is established,the heat conduction process of the composite is predicted by finite element method,and its thermal insulation performance is characterized by thermal conductivity.The re-sults show that when the distance between the internal node and the heat source surface of plain fabric panel composites in-creases,the node temperature and heat flux both decrease,and the heat flux is transferred along the temperature gradient direction.The influence of the thickness of the surface layer on its thermal conductivity is emphatically analyzed.When the thickness of the panel increases,the thermal conductivity of the composite decreases and the thermal insulation performance is better.The thermal conduction process,temperature distribution and final thermal equilibrium temperature of plain fabric panel composites were tested by infrared thermal imaging test,which was consistent with the results obtained by finite ele-ment method.
