Under the background of"dual carbon",lightweighting and energy conservation and emission reduction of automobiles are inevitable trends in the development of the automotive industry.Composite leaf springs are widely used in automobiles due to their significant advantages such as lightweight and high strength.This article introduces the research and application status of composite leaf springs at home and abroad,elaborates on the main advantages and structural forms of composite leaf springs,and focuses on analyzing the selection of composite leaf spring materials,as well as molding processes such as compression molding,extrusion,winding,and RTM.Finally,it looks forward to the future development of composite material molding processes.
