Time-Space Compression,Cultural Hybridization,and Active Bridging:A Study on the Strategy of Micro-Dramas Going Global
Based on analysis of the top ten trending micro-dramas on the ReelShort platform,this paper discusses the international communication strategies from there aspects namely grammar of image creation,content expression methods,and production methods of works.It found that micro-dramas effectively achieve international dissemination through audiovisual creation grammar that compresses time and space,symbolic production and meaning replication that blend multiple cultures,and the proactive bridging production methods of"third culture individuals".It also calls for future works to explore more diverse and uniquely Chinese narrative landscapes.
