Tell Chinese Stories:the External Communication Effect of National Opera
Based on the transnational communication phenomenon of the opera The White-Haired Girl,this research sorts out the creation process and external communication trajectory of the opera from 1945 to 1955.It finds that the CPC publicized the new image of New China in the form of cultural exchange and mutual learning to gain international recognition.Moving from the stage to the screen,and finally in the form of ballet,the audience of the opera have gradually expanded from domestic to foreign.The spread of the opera is a reflection of the CPC's foreign policy during that period,and also a supplement to the party's foreign communication,which is highly ornamental and vital.
