Anxiety on Postgraduate Entrance Exam Caused by Social Media:Taking Xiaohongshu Platform as an Example
This paper explores the relationship between the use of social media and the anxiety among college students.It finds that the college students use social media to obtain information,emotional support and construct identity during the preparation for postgraduate entrance exam.Social media has played the role of negative social pressure amplifier and information cocoon builder,which enhances the anxiety of the group.Some postgraduate candidates adopt digital avoidance and other methods to alleviate the anxiety brought by social media.
