Abstract
With the deep involvement of new media platforms such as social media in contemporary discourse practices, the topic of death, which was originally a cultural taboo, has been given the attribute of a public issue, and the media ethics of speaking about death have been reconstructed.Based on a cultural overview of the evolution of the ethical view of death, the new media ethics of publicizing and de-moralizing death have emerged, which is rooted in the living anxiety that prevails in modern society.By analyzing the discursive practice of speaking about death, the article summarizes two paths towards ethical reconstruction:"engagement and translation in a locutionary act"and"individualized emotional expression in illocutionary act".
