Drug-coated balloon(DCB)has become one of the main methods for coronary artery intervention therapy,and is widely used in in-stent restenosis,small vessel lesions,and bifurcation lesions.There is limited research on the use of DCB in the treatment of chronic total occlusion(CTO)lesions.Therefore,this article will discuss the potential role of DCB in CTO lesions by combining their mechanism of action and relevant studies conducted in CTO patients.
