Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is one of the most common cardiovascular genetic diseases which is mainly caused by the variants in the genes encoding sarcomere or sarcomere related structural protein.Now,hypertrophic cardiomyopathy has become the first cause of sudden death in adolescents.It is divided into obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.Obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy has a higher mortality than non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.This article reviews the past and recent advances in the treatment of obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,especially in interventional therapy and surgical therapy.
