The Association Between Adolescent Alcohol Consumption and Hypertension in Early Adulthood
Hypertension is the most common chronic non-communicable disease.Several studies have shown that the prognosis of hypertension is related to its age of onset,and that a number of adverse behavioral factors influence the age of onset of hypertension,including alcohol consumption in adolescence.This article elaborates on the current status of adolescent alcohol consumption,its adverse consequences,and the mechanisms underlying early adult hypertension.
