Comparison of Epidemiological Characteristics of Atrial Fibrillation in China and Foreign Countries
Atrial fibrillation(AF)is the most common arrhythmia and has a huge public health burden worldwide,with the prevalence of AF doubling over the past 30 years and now becoming the epidemic of the 21st century.Various studies have found that the epidemiological characteristics of AF vary greatly in different countries due to factors such as race and geographical location.Compared with the western population,the epidemiology of AF in Chinese population has its own characteristics.In recent years,more and more epidemiological reports on AF have been reported.This review will compare the epidemiological characteristics of AF in China with foreign countries,understand the differences between the epidemiological characteristics of AF in China and foreign countries,and compare the differences in risk factors,concomitant conditions of Chinese and foreign patients with AF.
