Pathophysiological Mechanism and Treatment of Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn
Persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn is one of the important causes of death in newborn infants, and it is a type of malignant progressive pulmonary vascular disease. The condition leads to respiratory restriction, hypoxemia, and eventually right heart failure, which seriously threatens the lives of children.Surviving children often have sequelae of other systems, which have a long-term impact on their quality of life. This article reviews the pathophysiological mechanism and treatment progress of neonatal persistent pulmonary hypertension,in order to provide reference for related research, clinical diagnosis and treatment.
