Study on the correlation between surface complement regulatory protein of monocytes and the degree of coronary artery stenosis in elderly patients with angina pectoris
Objective:To explore the correlation between surface complement regulatory proteins of monocytes and the degree of coronary artery stenosis in elderly patients with angina pectoris. Methods:This was a cross-sectional study.A total of 120 elderly patients with angina pectoris who admitted in our hospital from Jan 2021 to Jun 2021 and underwent coronary angiography were divided into low score group(Gensini score ≤20 points,n=55)and high score group(Gensini score>20 points,n=65)according to the Gensini score.General clinical data and the expres-sions of monocyte surface complement regulatory proteins were compared between the two groups. The correlation among complement regulatory proteins, clinical indexes and Gensini score were analyzed. Results:Compared with low score group, there were significant rise in level of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)[(2.26±0.78)mmol/L vs.(2.63±0.73)mmol/L]and proportion of diabetes history(21.8%vs.38.5%),and significant re-ductions in expressions of monocyte surface CD35[9.86(8.33,12.51)vs.6.44(4.26,8.16)],CD46[13.28(11.42,14.66)vs.10.42(9.19,15.38)]and CD55[39.90(32.40,47.48)vs.22.66(19.18,26.97)]in high score group,P<0.05 or<0.01.Spearman correlation analysis indicated that in high score group,Gensini score was significant positively correlated with LDL-C level(r=0.292,P=0.018),and significant inversely correlated with expressions of monocyte surface CD35,CD46 and CD55(r=-0.870,P<0.001;r=-0.327,P<0.001;r=-0.200,P=0.028).Multivariate Logistic regression indicated that LDL-C was independent risk factor for high Gensini score in elderly patients with angina pectoris(OR=2.517,P=0.036),while CD35 and CD55 were its independent protective factors(OR=0.786、0.670,P<0.05 or<0.01).Conclusion:The expressions of monocyte surface CD35,CD46 and CD55 are significant inversely correlated with the degree of coronary artery stenosis in eld-erly patients with angina pectoris and severe coronary stenosis.
