The relationship between endometriosis(EMT)and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD)is an emerging topic in the field of women's health.Despite the actual risk of ASCVD in EMT women is not clear,there is evidence proving that EMT women have a higher risk of cardiovascular disease.Early menopause,chronic in-flammation mechanisms,genetic similarities and dyslipidemia etc.explain the possible relationship between these two chronic diseases.This article aims to better understanding the link between EMT and ASCVD,expected to guide the implementation of new therapies to reduce the increased burden of cardiovascular disease that EMT pa-tients may face.
