Rural governance is an important part of the national governance system in China.Rural e-commerce is the core content of the rural digital economy. It plays a positive role in coordinating multiple ac-tors to participate in rural governance, and improve the willingness and ability of rural development.Existing studies mostly focus on the structured analysis of the objective targets of rural e-commerce development, and pay less attention to its social and political effects.Based on the policy feedback theory, this paper uses the cross-sectional data of China's"E-commerce in Rural Demonstration Counties"in 2020 to empirically ana-lyze the policy feedback effects of rural e-commerce policies on rural digital governance. The study found that rural e-commerce policies can significantly promote rural digital governance, and its impact has obvious regional heterogeneity. In areas with a high level of economic development and a low level of overall digital rural construction, the feedback effect is more significant. At the same time, network skills,as one of the re-source effects, have a significant mediating effect. The study shows that rural e-commerce is not only a real-istic path for the development of rural economy, but also an important opportunity for rural digital govern-ance,which provides certain inspiration and reference for promoting rural digital governance and strengthe-ning digital rural construction in China.
