Taking 25 listed Internet financial companies as research samples and based on their public financial data during the period of rapid growth from 2013 to 2020,this paper discusses the impact of execu-tive compensation on enterprise growth in"gazelle enterprises"from the three aspects of short-term monetary compensation,equity incentive,and the pay gap between executives.This empirical study shows that execu-tive compensation has an impact on enterprise growth in"gazelle enterprises",which is embodied in the negative correlation between the short-term monetary compensation of executives and the enterprise growth,the positive correlation between the equity incentive of executives and the enterprise growth,and the signifi-cant positive correlation between the internal compensation gap of executives and the enterprise growth.Based on this,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the management of executive compensa-tion in"gazelle enterprises".
