Adding hydration heat inhibiting materials can effectively control the hydration temperature peak of concrete,to re-duce the possibility of concrete temperature cracking and increase the durability and service life of concrete.The influence of the addition of the new composite hydration heat inhibiting material on the mechanical properties,volume stability and hydration of ce-ment is analyzed through the trace heat of the pure paste,the heat of hydration of the mortar,the compressive strength of concrete,TG,XRD,and SEM.The results indicate that the hydration heat control material can effectively reduce the hydration rate of cement in the early age without affecting the later strength,and reduce the generation of cement hydration products(CH,C-S-H,Afm,Aft).The hydration temperature appreciation of cement mortar decreased by 18.52%to 44.89%.In addition,it would increase expansion effect when used with expansion agent formulations.
