The concrete protective engineering requires surface coatings offering both waterproof and anti-corrosive properties, while also being able to resist cracking in the base layer.Commonly available flexible epoxy anti-corrosion coatings on the market are primarily suitable for metal substrates and possess a certain level of flexibility but lack extensibility, which can lead to coating flaking. This study achieved a cost-effective,extensible flexible epoxy anti-corrosion coating by combining emulsified asphalt, polymer emulsion, and modified polyether amine. When m(emulsified asphalt)∶m(polymer emulsion)∶m(modified polyether amine)=48.2∶15∶10,the coating achieves a fracture elongation of 56.5%at 25℃,the coating exhibits a fracture elongation of 56.5%at 25 ℃ and maintains flexibility down to-5 ℃.Impermeability, corrosion resistance, and electrochemical impedance test results demonstrate that this coating simultaneously possesses excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance.
