Study on the influence of water absorption characteristics of tuff machine-made sand on the early shrinkage performance of mortar
The water absorption characteristic of machine-made sand particles is an important factor affecting the performance of mortar.By studying the influence of the water absorption characteristic parameter of the saturated surface dry water absorption of tuff machine-made sand on the comprehensive performance of mortar,the relationship between the saturated surface dry water ab-sorption of tuff machine-made sand and its early shrinkage and pore structure was obtained.The research shows that the dry water absorption value of saturated surface of tuff machine-made sand is highly correlated with the early total shrinkage and pore distri-bution of mortar.With the increase of the dry water absorption value of the saturated surface of the tuff machine-made sand,the early total shrinkage of the mortar increases,and the pore size distribution decreases.
