Thermally activated construction waste separation residue and its application in shield grouting mortar
The complex composition and low pozzolanic activity are the main reasons that restrict the utilization of construction waste separation residue(CWSR).In this paper, the thermal activation treatment of CWSR and its application in shield grouting mortar are studied. The untreated CWSR is mainly composed of inert hydration products, quartz or calcite. After thermal activation treatment, new active components are formed in CWSR,partial replacement of fly ash and natural fine sand can promote hydration reaction of cement-based cementitious material system.Considering the activation effect and economy,500~800 ℃ is a suitable ther-mal activation temperature range. The measured values of the performance indexes of the shield grouting mortar prepared from the CWSR at 500℃ by heat treatment can all meet the requirements of the standard DB11/T 1608-2018"Technical specification for application of pre-mixed grouting mortar for shield-driving".
